The nation's premier culinary benefit to end childhood hunger, Taste of the Nation has raised more than $70 million since its inception in 1988, providing valuable support to more than 450 organizations working to end childhood hunger in their communities. The events range from black tie affairs to casual outdoor barbeques. Events raise both funds and awareness of Share Our Strength’s efforts to end childhood hunger in America. Each year, Taste of the Nation attracts more than 55,000 guests.

The Bite of Seattle™ came to life in 1982 when Alan Silverman, president of Festivals Inc., saw a need to recognize culinary excellence within the industry. An estimated 75,000 people attended the first Bite™ held at Greenlake, with only 25 restaurants. In 1986, the Bite™ moved to Seattle Center where it now attracts over 450,000 in three days and hosts over 60 restaurants.

Share Our Strength's Operation Frontline® is a groundbreaking nutrition education program that helps families help themselves by teaching them how to prepare healthy low-cost meals. SEATTLE PRIDE
 

To Coordinate and Promote Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender PrideEvents in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest, which Celebrate the Present, Envision the future, and Honor the Past. Seattle Pride is a month long celebration during June. Seattle Pride is one of the largest Pride events in the country, has no paid staff, and an all volunteer Board of Directors.
